Not your typical handyman.
Working in people's homes has been my life's work. As a nanny I learned what it means to be trusted with what matters most to you. As a professional organizer, I saw how often a home's needs are set aside due to the stress of finding the right person to handle it. As an artist, I have a knack for finding the beauty that exists, and adding it wherever I can. I've honed my handy skills over years of helping others with their homes, and many remodels and repairs of my own. Whether it's a quick fix, a bigger project, or a creative refresh, my heart's desire is to provide skilled, intentional work from someone who genuinely cares about how your home makes you feel, and recognizes the honor of being invited to address your needs.

Whether you've got a growing honey-do list, a project that's just a little outside your comfort zone, or a wall that's begging for something more interesting, I'm here to help. I keep my pricing simple and transparent, with no surprise service fees or complicated pricing structures.
General Handywork
For all those little (and not-so-little) things around your home that need a capable set of hands.
From drywall repairs and shelf installation to hanging doors, replacing hardware, assembling furniture, painting, caulking, touch-ups, and all the odd jobs in between—if it’s on your list, let’s talk about it. For larger projects, I’ll provide a clear estimate before we get started.

Handywork during your stay: $60 / hour
Going out of town? Why not come home to a house that’s been cared for and a few things checked off your to-do list?
I can take care of those small household projects you’ve been meaning to get around to—hanging pictures, changing hardware, touching up paint, assembling furniture, minor repairs, and more. Because I’m already there, handywork during an active stay is offered at a reduced rate. Pet, plant, and home-care details are customized to your needs.

Your walls don’t have to be boring.
I create custom hand-painted murals for homes, businesses, children’s spaces, creative spaces, and anywhere else that could use a little more personality. Pricing depends on size, design complexity, surface condition, and prep required. I’ll work with you on a design and provide a clear quote before painting begins. Every mural is one of a kind.

- Materials are billed separately. I’ll discuss significant material purchases with you before buying anything.
- Estimates
- Larger or more specialized projects receive a personalized estimate before work begins.
- Minimums
- General handywork has a 2-hour minimum. Handywork added to a house-sitting stay has a 1-hour minimum.

Plus, she used almost all up-cycled and reused stuff, making it look fresh and unique and fit the aesthetic beautifully, which kept the costs lower and aligns with my values around “stuff.” While she was here for a different job, she realized the dryer wasn't working as well as it should be and pulled it out and fixed it! Like, seriously? Who does that?!?!

Rae is one of the most knowledgeable and capable people I have ever known. We met when she spent 5 days organizing my house. She organized my entire closet by sorting into keep and donate piles of clothes, purses, shoes etc. Every afternoon she took the donate piles to the appropriate agency so that nothing was wasted or thrown.
She also helped organize another bedroom into a home office and made folders for documents I wanted to keep which was not an easy task. She was amazing at creating solutions for problems I didn’t know I had, always discussing every solution with me before she implemented the change.
